INCORPORATION
Engineering Case Study Showcase
Turnkey project (million project)
CASE 1: A pharmaceutical company commissioned us on a turnkey project basis to design and build a plant that simultaneously incorporated features of engineering safety and security. The challenge was to meet operational requirements and manage the project seamlessly within a 7-month period.
1. Cleanroom
2. Security
3. Fire safety
4. Electrical works
5. Air conditioning and mechanical
ventilation (ACMV)
6. Different doors and shutters
7. Office spaces
SOLUTION
Following several levels of consultation, we proposed and implemented a cost-effective design-and-build solution that seamlessly integrated operational requirements of the plant.
The entire project was also completed within 5 months.
Hotel Security Case Study
Hotel project
CASE 2: A hotel chain wanted to strengthen the security across its premises as the current security setup was rather dated and relied too heavily on traditional security methods.
The challenge was to incorporate an integrated smart security solution that would augment existing security features and would be easy to rollout across all its premises.
SOLUTION
Following a site surveillance and recce, we proposed a solution that encompassed the use of facial recognition, roll-calling, a VIP management system as well as AR glasses and cameras.
The VIP recognition system allowed the hotel's customer relations manager to quickly identify VIP guests, tap into and view customer data with their AR glasses and connect with the guests on a personable level.
The facial recognition features captured via the AR glasses were instrumental in giving an accurate reading of individuals as well as groups and had even on an occasion, prevented a break-in. With the ability to respond swiftly to issues with real-time data, security as well as hotel staff were able to resolve them quickly, and also account for guests, especially in the event of an emergency.
Product Features
As part of Quantum Leap Inc.'s uniquely tailored solutions package for our clients,
key products pertaining to security, safety and engineering and brought into the planning process.
These are some of the cutting-edge technologies that we deploy with our solutions packages.
Augmented Reality (AR) glasses
Our AR glasses can be employed in many scenarios including security, safety, cybersecurity, engineering works, quality checks, and controlling of unmanned drones.
Our in-house AI team comprises researchers from Microsoft,
the Chinese Academy of Sciences and a software architect
from IBM. Their research focuses on visual interaction
between man and machine in communication technology,
and constantly challenges the implementable boundaries of
facial recognition.
